My day began by meeting the rest of the Bookaspa Sales girls on a wintery Sunday morning to enjoy a relaxing spa day. We had the pleasure of experiencing the 5* Baglioni Hotel and Spa by SPC located by Hyde Park Gate in Central London.
We arrived at High Street Kensington tube station and had a short walk to the hotel. As we arrived at the entrance we were not disappointed. As you would expect from a 5* Venue the building was grand and the decor extravagant. More...

The best start to the day, driving in the wintery sunshine down the long picturesque drive to Coworth Park. When we arrived at 9am we were greeted by the Manager and Receptionist, followed by a show round of the immaculate spa. The treatment rooms were pristine white and all had natural light coming in from the ceiling thanks to the specifically designed building. We were given our robes and slippers and shown to the Spatisserie for our breakfast of croissants, tea, coffee and juice which we enjoyed immensely while sitting snuggled in our robes with the sun beaming in through the windows. I went to the Sofitel St James spa as a very special treat for a lovely friend’s 40th birthday. And ohhh what a treat. It really was divine. Being 7 months pregnant I really wasn’t sure what I would make of it, but from the moment we walked into the chic spa and got ushered down to the changing rooms I knew it was going to be pretty gorgeous. The feel is modern with simple lines in marble and wood, and straight from the off you feel like you are about to be seriously More...

I somehow manage to choose the worst days to decide to visit a spa…..snowfall forecasted early evening in the Midlands/Birmingham area. I set off early to complete a couple of meetings before aiming to arrive at the Lea Marston Hotel to experience their hospitality. It all goes well until I take the wrong exit onto the M6 and end up going in the opposite direction I should…and rush hour is building. I joint the motorway queue, heading in the correct direction this time, More...

We arrived at Luton Hoo on a cold, wet and very grey late November afternoon to celebrate our 10th Wedding Anniversary and 10 years in my job. We had previously been 2 years ago and had enjoyed it so much we had promised ourselves we would come back for every special occasion we could find an excuse to celebrate there.
We were booked in for a facial each and I was also having a manicure and pedicure. We had one slight problem. My husband had joined his office team in taking part in Movember, so when the beautician took one look at him the facial was ruled out along the lines of “I am not going to be able to get anywhere near your skin with that much hair!”. In October the BookaSpa girls were treated to a fam trip to Wales, whilst stopping by Bristol enroute. Hear what some of the girls had to say about it.
P.S. Keep your eyes peeled for some more blogs to follow about our experiences of The Vale and Celtic Manor!

To the amusement of my more educated male colleagues, I informed them that my fiancée Faye and I were going on a Spa break the day after my birthday. “Getting a facial!” was the best of the banter, but I have to admit I was slightly apprehensive. But let me start from the beginning.
I’m a passionate golfer, albeit not the best, but whenever the opportunity arises to visit a hotel with a golf course, I’ll endeavour to take my clubs with me. But after constant pestering from some of my colleagues working in the BookaSpa.com department, I finally succumbed to heading to a spa venue, Fawsley Hall Hotel near Northampton. The logic was that being as this was my birthday weekend, it would be a good opportunity to relax, leave the clubs at home and earn some brownie points by spending a little time with my future wife using the reputed spa facilities at the venue.
